About this Single Origin Coffee

El Patio is one of 12 plots at La Bolsa, a family run farm in Huehuetenango established in 1958.

Today La Bolsa is managed by mother and son team Maria and Renardo while Jacqueline, Renardo’s wife manages the QC lab.

We’ve been purchasing from La Bolsa directly every year since 2014.

Along with their selection of traditional varieties of coffee and innovative approaches to processing, we love their commitment to environmental sustainability with Rainforest alliance certification and a range of involvement in local community programs.
